Artists who register will be asked to pay the registration fee at the time of booking in order to secure their place.
There are 60 places available for artists participating in Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
The participation fee is €60 per artist and includes:
Lunch on both Saturday and Sunday
An official Art Faoin Aer designed welcome pack
Entry to the plein air competition and festival activities
Participants must be aged 18 or over.
This is an artist event; participation is by confirmation only.
All artwork must be created on site and during the official event hours (10:00am–5:00pm).
Only surfaces stamped at check-in will be accepted for competition.
Artists may work in paint, pen, charcoal, print, collage, mixed media, or other 2D fine art media.
No digital or photographic entries allowed this year. Artworks will be judged on creativity, technique, and response to the landscape.
Judges will be announced after the hand up deadline and conducted by a panel of invited arts professionals.
Winners will be announced at the prize ceremony at 4:00pm on Sunday.

Artists are responsible for bringing their own art materials, easels, and protective gear.
All submitted artworks will be displayed for public viewing. Artists are welcome to price their work for sale.
We recommend bringing an umbrella, in case of weather changes.
Artists are expected to be respectful to the public, fellow participants, and staff. You are encouraged to talk about your process, but not obliged to engage constantly.
The festival is committed to being inclusive.
Access support for artists or visitors with mobility needs is available.
